Lurker

One of my Halloween costumes this year was Violante, from the Inkheart Trilogy by Cornelia Funke. Also known as Her Ugliness, Violante is a small, plain princess with an unhappy past and a clever mind. Her role in the series has grown more and more with each page of 'Inkdeath' and I love it, because since her appearance in 'Inkspell' I've been dying for her to reach her potential. Having no real power of her own, she just lurks about the castle and plots. She's awesome. lol
